Kissito ["kis ee to"] Healthcare International (KHI) serves the world’s most vulnerable people with low-cost, high impact healthcare solutions.  Our International Operations are focused on one simple goal: Saving Lives Now.

We plan for a better future by acting NOW. We are in the trenches working side-by-side with communities and their governments.  We treat disease, heal wounds, and deliver babies safely every day.  We collect and analyze data daily to ensure our facilities and everyone we support has the personnel, drugs, and supplies needed to get the job done. 

Kissito currently operates 9 hospitals, provides supplemental support to 19 health facilities, and nutrition support to 123 health facilities. We are in Ethiopia, Uganda, South Sudan and Somalia and treat over 338,000 patients a year with life-saving services. Brick by brick, stitch by stitch, we are building stronger Public Health Systems. 

Vision

Kissito Healthcare International exists for the betterment and care of human life. Our program goals are focused on health, nutrition, and livelihood--on finding ways to create sustainable solutions to the problems faced by the vulnerable populations we serve.

Our mission is to improve healthcare outcomes with an intense focus on two core areas: Health Systems Strengthening andNutrition and Acute Malnutrition Management.
